Marcelino Custom Finishes, Inc. is a San Diego based artistic painting company, operated by Marcelino da Silva. Marcelino was born in Brooklyn, New York, although he spent his formative years in Brazil until the age of 24 when a one-way plane ticket took him back to New York City.
The realization of a dream began in 1996 in New York City when Marcelino used his vacation time from work at a Wall Street securities lending firm to attend a decorative painting class at the world renowned Finishing School located just outside Manhattan.
Marcelino has completed hundreds of projects from Rio de Janeiro to New York to California where his work has been featured in several publications. Today, Marcelino resides in San Diego, California with his wife, and has produced work in Las Vegas, Newport Beach and Los Angeles. His clientele includes discerning home owners, designers, architects, builders and business owners.
Marcelino continues his dedication to expanding and evolving the quality of services he provides to clients. In the fall of 2009, he will be concluding an interior design program at Mesa College in San Diego.
